Default Polaris's version of the Rhino

I heard awhile back that Polaris is working on 2 man 4x4 utility to compete with the Yamaha Rhino.

Has anyone heard anything on when it will be on the market?
Or does anyone have any info on what they are doing?

Isn't the ranger basically the same as a rhino?

It's the exact same thing. They did a shootout between the two in DW a couple of months ago.

I think the rhino is a two seater and the ranger is a 3 seater, The ranger is a little bigger in size.

Now we all know Polaris has the Ranger.

They are working on a another vehicle that is close in size to the Rhino. The Rhino is alot smaller than the Ranger & Polaris is losing some market share to them.
This means it has to be more ( compact ),nimble & it will only seat 2 people.

For Gods sake the Ranger is to dang wide, heavy, 7 long for trail riding.

Exactly, thank you for pointing that out to the people that don't know.

I am just trying to find out if the rumor is true about a 2 man machine from Polaris to compete with the Rhino in the woods.

Around here we think that if you spend $ 13,000.00 on a Ranger & take it thru the woods you might as well buy an old truck for $ 5000.00 & use it since they are about the same size.( Rangers are too dang big for trail riding )

I don't think the ranger is really marketed as an all day trail machine but more as a hard working , soft riding, big payload machine that has many different uses.

The Rhino I was a passenger in awhile back will most definately keep up with a 500,700 or Rinco in the woods. It is the corners that will get you in trouble, they tend to want to rollover if not careful & fast speeds.

Top heavy!
