Default Grease Fittings...

Question for all of you guys with grease fittings (like me). I just bought a second hand Kasea 50cc. It has grease zerks on the A-arms similar to my SP500. I put a gun on them, and got about 1/2 pump on all of them (got a small amount of grease to ooze on a couple) then I just can't force any more grease in no matter how hard I pump. I can't imagine all the zerks are bad, especially because they took some grease. So here's the question, do I assume that there is so much crud in there that the old grease can't push out? I'm trying o decide if I should disassemble the joints and clean them out. Any opinions or ideas?

I would first see if you can remove a few of the grease fittings and look if any crud can be seen. Even try to squirt a little grease in them to see if their open. That may tell you something.

Hey scottso. The way I check zerks is to push in the ball at the end of the zerk with a small screwdriver edge. If it moves in and out, the zerk is probably ok. If the ball pushes in and grease comes out of it, then the cavity is presurized with grease.
I hope this helps you
