Default Anyone Have an Idea What My Problem Is???

I was out mudding today, and as I was trying to claw out of a hole I noticed a bunch of light grey fluid on my front left tire. I figured it had to be a problem with the hub, but I got back and checked the hub fluid, and all was well. Anyways, I cleaned it all up, pulled off the front tires and started looking. As I was pulling off the tires, I leaned on the machine, and the front left strut made a nice scraping and squeaking sound as I compressed. My 4x4 seems to engage and disengage fine in the little bit that I tested it out by the house. Anyways, is it possible that the strut leaked and that was the light grey fluid I saw? Anyone that has any idea on this, let me know. Thanks.

your ATV has caught quad herpes.

My guess would be you got some water in your transfer case oil (makes oil into a milky grey/whitish goop) and that it came out your overflow hose or your hose has slipped off the transfer case and it came out. Im not sure but oil with water like that is a milky grey color. I dont know if water mixed with strut oil would be the same color. Somthing to take a look at. good luck

The overflow hose is still attached, but that is something I'll check into further. I think I'm just gonna do a full fluid change on the whole thing. It's about due anyhow. If anyone has any other ideaa though, feel free to chime in and let me know. Thanks guys.
