Reverse Actuator on Xpedition
Just wondering how many Xpedition owners out there are having the same problem as I am? The Reverse Actuator only works once in awhile when you push the Reverse Limiter button and try to shift into reverse. I have cleaned the connections many times and it will work fine for a short time. Can just reach back under the plastic cover and manually engage the actuator, but that gets to be a pain in the butt. I know three people locally that have Xpeditions and they are all having the same problem. I understand to replace the Actuator is a big and expensive job and I am not sure whether it is the Actuator itself that is the problem. Any ideas?

Reverse Actuator on Xpedition
hey oldlogger, u can cut the cover off the actuator, clean it all up and put in new grease and clean all the contacts from the inside. they get spread apart from the harness swaying and dangling from the plug. once u have cut the cover off, use locktite 414 to glue it back on, and put a couple zip ties around it just to make sure it doesnt pop off. Ive done this to lots of units. Works great, and is cheap too....

xpedition 325 reverse actuator
New to the forum. Just acquired a good condition xpedition 325 but it's missing the reverse actuator. I've tried to find even a used one online but haven't had any luck yet. Is there any other fixes (manual or redneck) to the missing actuator? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
