SP500 pulling a Ford Escort.

I have pulled several cars, trucks and vans into the shop where I work with my SP500 but never tried pulling one with the wheels locked up on it
Also have pulled countless quads out of the mud with it. The time that it impressed me most was the first winter I bought the SP500's. We decided to go for a ride after a pretty good snowfall for this area. I had the wife's SP500 in the truck bed and mine on a trailer while heading up a mountain road to our favorite unloading point. The road was gravel with several inches of snow pack that the county hiway dept. had dumped some small gravel on for traction. Apparently they had ran out of the gravel before they reached the top because as we rounded a turn on the shady side of the mountain the road turned to solid ice with no more gravel on it and the grade increased at about the same spot. Now , my truck is a 1/2 ton Chevy 2WD which didn't take long to start spinning and there was no way to turn around and no way I was going to try to back down with a trailer behind me. I unloaded my SP500 off the trailer, hooked up the tow rope, hit the AWD button and with my wife behind the steering wheel of the truck, pulled the truck with the other quad in it and trailer behind it the rest of the way up the mountain. My riding buddies were already parked on top waiting on us in they're 4WD trucks making bets that we wouldn't make it up the road. They were laughing, but impressed, to see the SP500 towing the truck up the mountain on ice. We did have a lot of fun riding the quads on the snow covered trails that day, and by the time we got back to the trucks the hiway dept. had finished graveling the road the rest of the way up the mountain so the dreaded ride back down wasn't near as bad as it could have been.

This is the truck I pulled you of the muskeg when the truck buried itself. It was hard pull requiring a couple of jerking starts, but it came out pretty good. The mudrunners left ruts about a foot deep. The guy in the truck was pretty amazed the quad could do it. I was designated the tow vehicle for the toyota and the jeep for the rest of the day..
