How Pleased Should I Be? Few things for my pred
#1
Well i got my 13 tooth front from rath coming as well as a 155 main jet coming. I am adding them to my k&N drop in and my PP slip on. How noticeable of gains will i have, do you think it should be a decent setup?

The 13t is going to give you all kinds of low end. I would get the twin air clamp on, alot better then a drop in K&N. I think you will like the new set up. Rath has also got a great header.

I installed a pure polaris white brothers pipe and uni air filter in stock air box with no rejetting per instuctions. This mod really woke the predator up. I mostly trail ride but what a difference. The bike now has power on the low to mid range which means I don't have to shift as much to find the power band. I can accually ride a gear high in corners compared to before. I see Matt Smiley (Polaris GNCC racer) is running the pure polaris slip on pipe, stock headpipe, and cfm air box. That's it for engine mods. It tells you how good the predator engine is from the factory.

I have HMF full system w/ carb mods 175main and custom airbox and it made BIG difference.
As for gearing the mx track i run at the 14 tooth works good for me on the dunes i run a 13 tooth it really helps for the hill shoots.
As soon as i get enough time to install the 560 high comp piston and rev box i'll be sure to let you all know how it runs.

Just the changes you are making will make a VERY noticeable difference.
I have tried to make each of my mods "one at a time" so that I have a good idea of it's effect. I would say the biggest single improvement came from the aftermarket CDI box. Next best was the sprocket change.
But each mod I have made has been a noticeable improvement.
Increasing the size of the main jet (without blubbering on top end) is a good indicator of what power you are gaining as you increase air flow.
Also White Bros makes a needle, and/or lower the clip (this raises the needle and gives you increased air/fuel flow in mid throttle range).
You might need to adjust the air screw (stock is 2 1/2 turns out), and perhaps a bigger pilot jet (low throttle positions) although most folks are staying with the stock 45.
I don't doubt RAJ about the clamp on filter..... but don't forget you really need to send your carb in for upgrades to get true effect from the clamp on filter.
If you get the header, you might want to think about the getting the heatshield for an extra $35.

Yes I forgot to say that about the twin air. All you have to do is cut 4 coils off the spring for the slide. I have done this to 2 different Preds, works great. And of course turn air screw out, start by turning it back in all the way and turn it back out 4 turns. That would be something to play with, 4 turns works great here in ohio.
