Default 1989 250 TrailBoss - Starts Hard

Hello,
I have recently purchased a 2 stroke Trail Boss 250, and I am looking for ways to make the ATV run better. When I purchased the ATV, it was not used for 2 years, and was just sitting outside. I have changed the oil, changed the gas, and cleaned the carburetor since I received it. Sometimes, the 4 wheeler will start up easy. After it is running with minimal use for about 10 or 20 minutes, and you turn it off, and start it back up, it does not start, after 10 or 20 hard pulls.

When I first got the trailboss, it would not start at all. I had to clean the carburetor very thoroughly to get it running. The trailboss had to run for about 20 minutes to get all the old oil and gas out of the system.

Anyone know any ways to tweak the trailboss so it runs better, what to clean, or how to fix it?

Regards,
Matt

Maybe you didnt get the carb clean enough or theres parts in it that need replaced. If thats not it, check your ignition. It might need some work too
