Default They don't make it easy

I went to change my spark plug today and had to pull the plastic off and the fuel tank just to get to the spark plug. Then I went to the auto parts store to get a new plug and they did not have one..... They had to order it in..... It will be here at 8am...... So much for a quick change.......

Hope you got more than one. Not that it uses them, but since it is such a pain, I keep several on hand and change them any time I have to take the plasctic off. Just a little insurance on my part.

Wait till you have to tighten your chain...Hah What a JOKE that is...once you get it figured out you feel like Einstein. I still wonder why Polaris doesnt simplify the chain tightening method.

It's nice to know I'm not the onlyl one who can have a 10 minute project take a day. You'd think they would make it easy to change a spark plug. I usually change the plugs in mine about ever other ride. Overkill yes, but it does keep an eye on the rich/lean situation. Have a group of 3 that I kind of rotate through the changes. Clean 'em, gap 'em, replace 'em.

I found this link to be very helpfull for this situation. Chain Tightening Step 7 is the best.

Step #7 is always the best Eric! lol

...Other than the actual satisfaction and ride after the repair / maintanence.
