05 phoenix help

Default 05 phoenix help

I bought my phoenix about a month ago ive went threw about three tanks of gas . Here are some of the some of the thing i dont like about
it, first of all you have to push the gas alot to even pull out, hell it fells if thow your at like 3000 rpms just get the mother to move.top speed feel like about 45 mph ,it bottoms out on me almost everytime i jump it more than two feet. the frame will slam on something and it hurts
like hell . i weigh 195 and it spew some kind of junk on my back drive shaft thing like it was overfilled hell im no expert but anyway if anybody can give me some advice that would be great.can i bore or mod this thing to be faster it barley gets me up a steep hill. thanks

You bought the wrong bike... the Phoenix is an entry level machine built for beginners. Sell the Phoenix or take it back and get something better suited to your size and riding style.

Default 05 phoenix help

Hey Flipfury,
Regarding the loud "clank"sound when you land a jump, I thought my suspension was contacting the frame on landing but I got someone to watch me from behind & he said that there was heaps of clearance in the frame, I since read a post that explained the sound you hear as some sort of slack adjuster inthe tranny, apparently Polaris are aware of it & intend to remedy the situationin the near future.
So far as the power factor, I knew it was no Raptor when I bought it but I,m hoping someone will see the potential for hop up parts so I can stretch it a bit further before I step up to something else.For the moment it does me just fine, but I do agree that maybe the gearingis a bit out of whack.Also check that youare getting full throttle as some had the throttle stop screwed in for the run-in period.
