After market Struts ?

After market Struts ?
I have a "99" SP 500 bought new. Have change the stock tires to Goodyear Mud runners ( same size as stock).Installed new tie rod ends.(new style). Found that the right side tie rod end is rubbing the tire. After much looking and checking have found the following problems:
1. with tire off, checked with straight edge on brake disk. found that the arm on the strut that the tie rod end mounts to is about 3/16 closer to the wheel than the left side.
2. Visual inspection with wheel mounted you can easily see that the right tie rod end is closer to the wheel than the left side.
Don't want to use wheel spacers unless i can get 1/2 inch or less. Don't want to flip the tie rod end either as this looks like it would upset the geometry on the steering system.
My question is, does anyone make an after market strut that fixes this problem?
And is the SP 800 like this or has polaris fixed this problem, as i my be bying a 800 later on. I still like my polaris.
Thanks for replys
