96 Sport 400 Solenoid wiring
I need to get some help on my 96 Sport 400. I recently purchased a Sport 400. There was no solenoid with it. I just installed a new solenoid. I have 4 wires at the solenoid but do not know were 2 of them go. I have the thick cables installed one to the battery and one to the starter. There is a RED wire with the inline circuit breaker and a WHITE wire with RED stripe. Were do these go? If you have a picture of of please attach. Thanks....

Dave, the red wire with the circuit breaker will attatch with the positive battery cable. That is your main charge wire coming from the regulator, and they just hook it up to the battery there. The white wire with the red stripe will be your start wire, or engagement wire for the soleniod. You just attatch it to the sinlge small post or male slide end on the soleiod. When you hit the start button that wire should go hot and engage the soleniod. by the way, if the polaris OEM part is expensive you can use a general lawnmower replacement with one small hookup.
