Oh yeah I have been taking pictures like crazy. I almost filled up my 1 gig card yesterday. I'm on a dial up at my sister in laws so I'll have to wait till I get home to my highspeed and then I'll set up a site with some pics. It is really beautiful up here. We're renting Sportsmans on the 4th and going riding all day I can't wait.

Scrama, sounds like it's a great vacation Lots of wild life and atvs Way to go

Elkbow, We saw a couple nice bucks in velvet the other day. Couldn't get any good shots for pictures. How far do you travel for the elk? We have a refuge about 45 minutes away that have Tule Elk on it.

I've got elk about 50 miles from here, but takes me about and hour and a half to drive up in the area, its in the mountains...

I wish we had a hunting herd that close to us. There's a group of guys, that I hunted with that go to eastern Oregon every year for elk and deer. In Ca. you need to be in a special draw to hunt elk. I believe they only give out like 5-6 tags for Tule elk in the state. And my area isn't an area you can hunt elk in.
