Had 26" mudrunners on my '03 sp600 and just loved them. had them installed on the stock chrome wheels, 26-9-12 fronts didn't rub unless bottoming out, and 26-12-12 rears looked just awesome. wish i would have had them installed on my '05, cause i've already had 2 flat tires in only 600 miles this year, these new radials seem to puncture easily.

My friend has a set of 26" on his 99 sporstman 500. That thing goes through mud better than my 700 with rawhides on it. There have been a few times when i get stuck then he seems to go right through it without a problem. They are a heavy tire though, and last i checked we more expensive than some of the other brands out there, but they are a nice tire. They seem to be really puncture resistant also.

Will 26" tires take any of my power away?

26s will take away a small amount of power in the deep mud but will give u a minute bit of speed on the top end

all in all u wont notice much of a difference
