Man this thing r0x0rx! it's seriously obscenely fast. Will pull the wheels in every gear easily. A couple questions:

1) there's a whining on the left side of the engine, been through 2 gas tanks so far... but it's still there...
2) what can be done (quick and easy like) to wake this thing up even more? it beats my buddy's YFZ in the straight line, but i'd like to have some more.
3) Also, the website Polarisperformance.com says this machine has a wide ratio gear box, does this mean a standard box? or is it actually wider than that?

Finally *drumroll please*

i've just been given the information from a local dealer that Polaris is planning on releasing a dirt bike with the Predator 500 engine in it. (sorry if this is old news already) thought that was an interesting news peice, however. anyone have answers to my questions? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

second...it has the standerd..

third...no not old news...first I have heard of it actually...kind of intreging that they are jumping into the dirt bikes now...

 

the whining is normal. it will go away after about 20 30 hours. pipe and filter that thing then it will wake up even more. yes, wide ratio is the standard gear box.

Whining goes away...... Pipe .......Filter .....Jetting.....Huge difference....than Ignition box have fun!

 

the noise will go away, i have the same thing with mine. add more discs to the pipe
