Default OOPS!!! AWD question

A phone call to my local dealer said that they have not had a problem with the newer center hub set up but did have magnetization issues with the older hub on the wheel style. As for them covering it he said that unless he could find a service bulletin or some piece of paper to hang it on they wouldn't cover it. Even then he said typically Polaris will supply the part and the dealer will have to eat the labor. I asked him what it would take to fix it and he estimated a couple of hours labor and about $150 for the part if it was that hub housing. Doesn't sound too bad if I have to go that direction.

ya, I pretty much got the same story...'cept was told the repair actually took 6 hrs.

I'd tell them to fix it with what they have proposed, but also that they should be able to call Polaris and advocate for you to reimburse for the total cost of fixing the issue. Good Luck.
