How to offend a dealer?

I really don't have much info on the Tazewell County Fair ATV Rodeo but I know that they are having a dragrace, obstacle course and one other event. The phone number for the fairs office is 276-988-1308.The events start at 7:00 p.m. and they want you to be registered by no later than 5:30 and it's this tuesday.
The Rich Valley Fair ATV Rodeo is huge.I've been to it almost every year for the last 11 years. It's held at the Rich Valley Fair grounds this tuesday and wednesday (Aug. 2nd & 3rd).The 2nd will be for utility quads only and the 3rd will be for Sport quads only.Registration starts at 5:00 p.m and the events start around 7:00 p.m.They have an awesome payback for the first 3 places in each class and the sport quad night is usally packed with spectators and racers. They have 5 different events (similar to what the horses run) and it's all obstacle course stuff that you race against the clock on.There's only one ATV allowed in the ring at a time (insurance reasons) and it's all flattrack type stuff with no jumps.I used to race motocross and have more fun at the rodeo's than I did at the MX tracks.
If you can get your hands on one of the fair books it has all the info on the ATV Rodeo's.They're pretty fair about how they class the quads, but the guys that have been doing it for a long time kind of have an edge. The lower and wider your ATV is a plus and tire selection makes a big difference.I've been using Turf Tamers on the back of all 3 of the quads that I race with good luck. For front tires I really like the Holeshot MX's, but anything with a decent pattern seems to work well.

I would be surprised if Polaris would stand for that type of service if they knew it was going on. For this guy to say he would not peform warranty repairs is unbelievable. I'm the Warranty Administrator for John Deere and we are required to service any John Deere product as if we sold it here, doesn't matter where our customer bought it. That I would assure you would have been an agreement when this guy got his dealership. I would go directly to Polaris with these comments and let them contact him.

Polaris doesn't really care bout the guy's attitude or the warrantee at his dealership, it's a wide spread problem. Large dealer's will sell for huge amounts less due to volume, work on the rebates for their profit. Small dealers don't get the amount of rebates the larger ones do, therefore a more expencive atv. BUT>>>>the larger dealers don't care about the customer as a rule, just the numbers. They also tend to hire cut rate help to reduce their overhead. They also can't service the numbers they push out there, then the smaller dealers have to pick up the slack in service & warantee, think it's fair???? Here's another, everytime warantee is done on a machine, the customer is sent a csi form, if the customer is unhappy with his polaris experience (Bionic.....sorry man), the csi will reflect his or her opinion. If the customer is unhappy, it doesn't reflect the large dealer, it reflects the smaller dealer that had to do the repair due to the fact the large dealer is TOO busy pushing their numbers. After all, large dealers are run mostly by car salesman lookin for volume & numbers.
The prob actually starts at the top, all prices should be the same from dealer to dealer & polaris should closely monitor this.
If it keeps going the way it is, most peeps will have to drive to the nearest "polaris superstore" (like wallmart), get no info over the counter to fix their own, but will be paying the same bottom line.
It is wrong to refuse warantee repair on polaris atv's if u are a polaris dealer, the better way to go would be to say "I'm busy for months now, leave it here if u like", this usually puts peeps off.
