Remember the story "Old Yellow" hope your situation doesn't have the same ending. LOL... Hang in there Bro. Look at the things I have to do after we ride, you know it pisses me off. Anyway would like to say that Greg will shoot it to ya straight, you might like it and you might not but its on the level.

If I were to buy another quad today, it would probably still be the SP500. If it was not a Polaris, it would still have to be a bike with disk brakes front and back, which excludes Honda. Whatever I would choose, it would be a step down from the SP500. I think I will live with the occasional inconveniences of the SP500 and enjoy the superior ride and performance.

Greg, you da man.....lol
Ok, here's my deal
I have 350 miles on 2000 SP500, new belt, water pump seal. I didn't install a hose from the over flow until it had about 300 miles on it and most of them were in the mud. So I'm sure that's why the seal is gone. Dealer has already told me to bring it in and he'll fix it under warranty.
Had a carb bowl full ofmud too.
From what I've seen, heard, and driven, the SP 500 would be the best choice in my opinion. When I ride with a very very diverse group of bikes at my dad's in W.Va. (not as much as I'd like ( )
The SP's always go thru the holes, and to dat ehave always been driven back home. Mine even went about 130 miles on a wiped out belt. Rode with the belt that way until it started turning over. lol wouldn't go anywhere then. I can hardly wait to see what Polaris comes out with next.
