actually I met jeffintd in the utility section. I was searching for battery info.
"walmart sealed batteries" got me going.
AND of all things. The battery in my daughter's car died today and I went to walmart for a new one and the new one I put in was BAD!!!
I added one more gray hair today

and some say they are used to the heat here. (ya right)

I can drink a gallon of liquids in a day and never pee..

Ive seen that thread but havnt been in it yet..

I have had good luck with WalMart deep cycle batteries but havnt bought any other types.. i had a NAPA battery for a 72 Burb that died in less than 6 mos and a week. Warranty for full replacement was only good for 6 mos. i told them either replace it or Ill but everything somewhere else. Im not shopping there anymore.

batteries die when they want to. Murphy's law
I forget who it was but someone made a comment about me buying walmart batteries with the 3 year free replacement warranty. I just offered friendly advice. I think it's great with the heat out here. Used the warranty many times. You can spend a gazillion dollars on other brand names and they will fail. I had an Optima in my truck and it puked when I needed it most.

sorry to hear about Cookie. Hope she is doing better.
I wish I could say I get used to the heat but it beats my butt all the time. I went for a motorcycle ride today and I was good until I stopped. 105*
