What do you guys think I should buy an 05 500 HO for $5900 or a 05 700 efi for $6900. I currently have a 500HO and really don't need anymore power but it could never hurt. Do you think it will be worth the extra money?

I made the trade from the 05 500ho to the 05 700 efi and sure glad I did love the sound and the power of the 700,nothing wrong with the 500 but sure do like the efi for starting and the extra power.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

i think the right machine for you would be the 500EFI.

cold weather starting will be a cinch. you said you don't need more power. i think the efi will be just as quiet as the regular 500 ............and have EXCELLENT fuel efficiency, and won't cost much more then the carb version. the recoil back-up is quite nice if your battery fails miles from any road.

The only reason I am considering the 700efi is because of the price I can get an 05 700 for cheaper than the 06 500efi.
