Stop worrying about that rebuilt thing, buy that SOB. Even if it needs a rebuilt you could spend the money to do that, my guess is around $600-$800, and then sell it and still make out great, assuming its in good condition.

Where you live im sure there are people on here that would go buy it. That is cheap for a 99 scrambler. If you don't want to buy it or mess with it then im sure there is someone on here that would not have a problem with it.

Almost sounds like a fuel pump gone bad. My '99 Scrammy 500 has an electric one that the previous owner installed. Maybe it was a problem for '99. If you dont buy it I would like to. Good luck.

Yes he had a problem with it so he just put a switch in where he could turn it on and off when he wanted to.
