he is saying that the fan DIDNT come on when the engine got hot.. probablly because the sensor on the rad was bad and he put a 2 way switch inplace of that so he could turn the fan on and off freely

 

BUY IT...even if you had do drop 1000$ in repairs...THATS STILL A GOOD DEAL!!! that motor will NOT have to be rebuilt, the 500 4 stroke is as bulletproof as they come...

actually tyler its just the way that you look at it, he had a problem with his fan coming on... thats just like us saying that new lamborghini is BAD lol

 

ok so i got it now what do i look for the guy said if he sparys gas in it it will stay run fuel pump? i have to pull start it the reala is bad i gess

 

The battery is probably dead from cranking it without it starting and charging. Try charging it overnight at 1 amp.

 

I got it charged. now i try to start it would not start with out starting fluid. so i cleaned the carb still the same. so i dont think its getin fuel what would that be the fuel pump? and if so is that up front it has like 5 screwes in it ? if any one has any idea please sure thanks for ever ones help.

 

fuel pump is towards the bottom i feel that with a new quad a parts break down is great for things like this click here for parts break down

 

well this is what i just found out to night just got in from grage. I have fuel going to carb. i got it to run there wasin a air filter on it but i do have it i tryed putin it on would not start so i took it off. i put my hand where filter gos on started it up it will idel with my hand on it i can put a air filter on from my 400ex it will run for a bit not long that air filter is biger the the one that came with it so im kinda look at is need a new filter this one is old and dirty i no he cleaned it but its black. what ya think?

 

i think that you need to rejet that carb... i would recommend the dyno jet kit with a new stock filter
