why rejet it if its stock and was runin great how it jeted now?

 

any one no what the problm could be if i can hold man hand over the carb it will stay runing? so thats sayin its not getin anuff fuel or theres somthing wrong with it inside the motor?????

Sorry but im not good with typein. i just took the quad to a dealer they thought it was the carb then they cheek one more thing its the cam thats bad the guy told me it you dont run Polairs oil in them can run in to cam problms i dont no it thats true or not. my hondas i run GTX 20-50 in them they have been fine. i am letin the dealer do the work when they put the new cam in will the ajust vales? any one no?

 

it dont need to be rebuit just do a compression test on it so for 700 bucks get it even if you need to rebuilt is only a cupple hundred bucks no big deal but with a scammy you can go any were and over any thing if you dont get it your gonna kick ur self in the ***

 

WHAT EVER YOU DO dont keep spraying starting fluid in it cause you will be scarring the cyilnder walls and THEN you will have to rebuild it so take my advise dont keep spraying starting fluid OK jusat trying to save you some money

 

yes u need to run polaris synthetic 0W-40 oil or an equivalent like amsoil.... i would recommend the polaris oil, thats all you should use in the engine, the exhaust cam lobe does wear flat on the cams in the polaris 500 engines it is common, and it probablly didnt help running the wrong oil in the atv, call your dealer up and ask them if they are going to adjust the valves when they put in the new cam, they should but might not.

trailblazermudrunner the starting fluid these days is usually lubricated unless its pure ether, its probablly not too hard on the engine to use small ammounts of starting fluid but i wouldnt recommend doing it alot

 

yeah havint been sparyin startin fuiled in it but i no the guy that did he would stay out there for a hour or two doing that could that of hurt in any? thants for ever ones help

Well just got my scambler back Its runin goood now. the Cam was bad so had a new one put in runs good so far. just thought i would let ya no what was wrong with it. thanks for all ya help.
