I have a TB 250 and a SP 90. I was wanting to know how often everyone greases there atv's. And how long a 3 oz cartridge of polaris premium all season grease should last. If I'm using it on both machines. Also is this what most people is using on there machines.

 

I do not know how long your grease will last but I would grease it everytime after you ride thru water or mud. Maintenance is the key for an atv to last. I check my atv over after every ride even if I only put 20 miles on it in one day.

 

I'm A grease freak I hit my zerks before every ride and after every ride that includes water. I use a full size grease gun and mobil one synthetic grease. I think it might be over kill on the grease. Now if I paid as much attention to my air/fuel mixture I wouldn't have melted a piston and I'd be riding instead of looking at a torn apart scrammy with a lonesome piston rod sticking out all by it self.

 

I use marine grease, same stuff you would use in hubs for boat trailers. I figure if it works for applications that go under water for great lengths of time as well as taking the heat from highway driving it is perfect for the Raptor.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
