Yeah, it's puttin' a big crimp in my lifestyle. Gas has now become the second biggest expense I have after my rent. I spend more in gas than for utilities or food! And I've cut back my driving since before it hit two bucks a gallon[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] I won't be doin' any sledding this winter, but at least the quad is easy on gas. And as others have mentioned, I need to keep my suv pig to tow the trailer and to get into our camp. Even if I wanted to sell it, you can't give these things away now. I thought about getting a second small car, but by the time you pay the extra insurance, you can't save any on the gas. Screwed no matter how you look at it! And you can't even get free DirecTV anymore[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Had fun on our trip to Vegas regardless of prices. Visited my daughter going to school there and had some fun family time. However, it did keep us from spending that extra $20 or $30 on other things that we may have bought otherwise.

 

Front page in our newspaper today said business was slow. Everyone I talk to said it was quiet here, that's unheard of here for a holiday weekend.

 

you know here in BC Canada the price of water is still more then gas.
heres an example.
gas costs $1.22 a ltr.(quart) and water in the store is a $1.99 a ltr (quart) and my quad or truck wont run on water.
so i guess im buying the gas.
were not to happy with gas out here becase alberta is the next provence over and thats where our gas comes from.
and theres plenty of it.
so i dont understand why there charging so much.
its not like we have a shortage of gas.
i think canada is jumping on the high gas price band wagon to make a few extra bucks at our expence.and thay dont give a rats **** what we think.
the price will keep going up and up untill somthing snaps.
like me and 50 million other people.

nope... gas prices do suck tho... still went to plattsmouth and platte river... yeah sunk my 400 a few times too, and cracked a boot. And i broke my 325 trail boss too.
