Secondary Clutch Disasembly

I thought I would change my secondary spring to red. The instructions above look good and I think I'll give it a try.
How can I set the secondary to 2-2 in the process when I change the spring? I don't know what 2-2 means or how to do it to be honest? I saw someone else with a similar clutch set up and thought I would try it.
I changed my front to something stiffer and it has a higher take off, hits good and pulls good throughout. I think it could shift out better to higher RPM's near the top of hills though.
Thanks

The #1 position on sheave is the stiffest setting with the #2 and 3 settings progressively weaker .
On the roller housing (or helix) the #1 position is the softest setting and the #5 (2) is the stiffest.
Just place the spring end in the appropriate hole and reassemble.
Don't forget to preload the spring on non ebs machines buy turning it 1/4 to 1/2 turns before reassembly.

jimmypsp700,
Ok, I'll give it a try. I've seen the secondary but not in a while so I'm having trouble picturing this. With the info on this thread I'll figure it out when I break into it. I know what the sheave and helix look like and how to pre-load.
Thank you

Go to www.polarisowners.com and download a PDF. file of the parts manual, it has a good diagrams to go by and a list of all the parts, although its not sopposed to be used for assembly you can get the idea.

That is a '05/06 sp800 head pipe, the other is a 700 with the Y manifold.
Just take yours off and send it to Jet Hot for the Sterling (ceramic) coating.
Or a local shop, it will cost you around $100 to do, they are new for about $100 black.
