Wildbill, your the man! I loosened up that motor mount and was able to pop the cover right off. Unfourtounately the recoil spring broke on me and I will have to replace that along with my recoil cord. Thanks again for the hot tip!

 

my explorer has a hole in the frame to pull that bolt out thru. i guess the scrambler doesn't have that huh. what a drag.
