I blew the struts out on my Explorer 400 and have been looking into which struts to get. I have seen the Works, Fox, and Kimpex Gold's. Right now I am leaning towards the Works. $279.00 a pair and they custom valve them for your weight and your riding style. 30 day ride quality guarentee so if you dont like em you can send them back. Just wondering if anyone has these and what kind of experiences they have had with the others as well. Thanks

the Kimpex are way better than stock, i have them, i'm told the fox aren't any better than these. the Works i have no idea about.

 

the works are very nice, PM GE4x4, he had them on his 800

 

I have decided to go ahead and spend the extra money on the Works. I am a big fella and I like to ride hard so with the experiences I have seen with Works in the past I think it is worth the extra $$. I have found that affordable is always good but if you can afford it, the better stuff is always worth the money. I will report on them after my ride on the 1st of the month with them.....IF they get here on time.

 

Please do. I'd like to know how they perform.
