BIG DEAL! there's other types of racing, and i think that's a bit more of what the Predator was designed for. Also, there is a 440 kit in case you desperately need to race professional motocross. and furthermore, let me ask just how many people with a 450 actually race it in MX. i imagine the answer is like 60% of them tops. i have a buddy who constantly brags about his YFZ450. and how it is the fastest race ready machine that's legal for the track. You know how many tracks it has seen? one. The one behind my other friend with the TLD's house. Know how many rules and regulations there are there? NONE.
I guess my point is that the Pred is a wild-fast, great handling OPEN-CLASS MX quad or a production class GNCC ride. and lets not forget the reason that most people buy them, the trails. Thus i think it would be GREAT if KTM's 525 found its way into a Predator chassis, who cares if it's not MX legal out of the box.

I think they should use the Outlaw frame for the 525cc, and the Pred frame for a 450cc. That way Polaris has a GNCC, and a MX quad. All I did was drag, so it would be nice to see Polaris have a MX quad.

IMO, just looking through news updates and reading between the lines, It sounds as if Polaris will make a 525 predator. If you read more, it would seem KTM will produce a new 450 for racing. (of coarse both will be involved) It sounded as though Polaris will try and compete with the Raptor / DS650's while KTM will go after the yfz's and the r's. This makes sence if you stop and think about it. They could drop the 525 in and go kick butt. Then build a slightly lighter, more mx friendly frame for the 450 and probably also kick butt. But then again what do I know, I read between the lines!!
