I have a 2004 polaris sportsman 500 H.O. recently while riding i noticed the insturment cluster losing power on and off. after closer inspection i noticed it would lose power when the handle bars were turned to the left and come back on when i turn to the right. like a short or lose conection. i have 3900 miles on it. my friend has the same bike and turned over 3900 miles last week and his started doing the same thing. i have looked and cant see anything wrong. it has now got where it will not come on at all. my four wheel drive stopped working and the bike will go as fast in reverse as forward without the override button pushed down. i was hoping that someone has had the same problem and could tell us where to look for the problem. any help would be greatly appreciated . thanks brian
