Default Anybody ride snowmobiles?

I am looking for suggested sites like this one that talks about sleds. Any input would be thankful. Just got a 1989 Polaris 650 Indy with 146 miles on it. This thing is all worked to the gills for ice racing. It scared the rider that put all this $$ into it and it has been sitting in the garage forever. This thing is cherry. I just dont know much about these things. Thanks again

Here's the largest on the planet, or so they say, it's the best one I've found.

I sled, but totally recreationally and have little idea how the sleds work.

My neighbor does ice racing as well. He has an insane machine, and placed 2nd at the finals in quebec a few years back.

Iv'e been riding sleds for quit some time and is the funnest thing in the world IMO. The polaris indy 650 is a very powerful triple. I have owned a 1995 RXL 650 and that thing screamed. The 1989 will probably have the orginal indy chasis or if the guy has modified it a bit. I go to these races called Frostbite Days where it is all ice racing and if that 89' is anything like those ones i watch, you'll have a blast. MY 650 only did about 105mph but it just spinned up to about 80 or so. As you can see i ride a very fast xc700 and 500. Thats where the thrill is. Are you going to ice race or change it up a bit into a lake racer?

I had the exact same sled(hope it's not mine) It was set up for ice drags and I toned it down for personal use. It was the sharpest fastest sled you ever saw. I had to keep extra pistons with me every time I rode it. My wife got tired of me working on it and said she would leave if I didn't get rid of it. Haven't seen my wife in awhile.
