blew up both clutches on a 2000 600 sportsman
Im sorry, it is a 2003 - 600 sportsman.
Everything is stock. I wasnt there when it all came apart but the machine is used to work cattle and farming.
If I understand what Im looking at the forward clutch blew apart completely into pieces and then damaged the belt and the rear clutch assembly. It does have that engine slowdown feature.
What I was interested in is the best way to repair this
Thanks for the help

You can either just replace you old cluthces with new polaris ones or you can get a team performance roller secondary clutch (rear) and either a non ebs polaris primary, or the 05 sp 800 primary with ebs. You will ahve to purchase a new helix and spring with the team roller clutch the clutch is 180.00 the helix is 69.00 and the spring is 19.00 I do not know the price of the stk. stuff. On the primary we would set you up with weights and a primary spring too the weights are 26.70 each and the primary spring is 27.95. Not only will you machine perfrom better acceleration wise but we can set it up so that its clutched to pull heavy stuff around or being loaded down all the time, yes this is what low gear is for but with the stock cluthcing set-up there is still alot of belt slipage, and belt slipage produces heat which ruins belts and bushings in the clutches. If you ahve anymore ?'s please feel free to ask. Or give us a call 651-982-0600
