hi i am new here i just bought 2 thats right 2 new 2005 800efi paid cash to boot i took them home and i have put 2 hours or 9 miles on bike 1 it has a major electrical problem that ended in burnt wiring bike no 2 has 2 hours or 11 miles and transmission making terrible noise grinding etc heres my question do i let them repair bikes do i demand new bikes or should i ask for a refund they have been at dealer for 5 days now as i post please help with answers

 

thats not much information....if they are new, let the dealer look at them, you're problems don't sound typical....

explain further your problems, what was the 'major electrical' problem? What was the 'grinding' noise....all newer polaris's make a transmission noise, you won't hear it after awhile....but yours could be different, but they all make more of a 'clunking' sound when letting off of the gas at slower speeds...

doesn't sound normal and since you have two machines, doesn't sound right at all, take them to the dealer, they will help you out if they are good dealers

 

as far as the noise dealer says they must rebuild rear end my bike laying in pieces all over their shop ....as far as electrical it burnt wiring harness up and the say the have to put new starter new relay and new wiring and the dont know if thats what caused it or not it might burn again
