Default getting an 05 troy lee pred this week, questions,,,,,.

I would recommend gettin the Pure Polaris Pipe. Its totally tunable. U can add disks or take them off. Also i would recommed the New Rath Racing header.

thanks for all the input again,
looking forward to recieving it. the pp exhaust/ nerf bars sounds like the the way i was headed anyway.
are there any areas that i have to watch for on the pred.? things that work loose or need special attention and /or lube.?
regardless, i'll keep you posted on my deal, otd.

** to webopper, thanks for the statistic of the 40 and over club for us. only two, that is exclusive.?
they are'nt gonna make me start parking near the front are they.??????

everyone got it right here.
The must haves are
Pure Polaris Pipe\EB pipe (same thing) with extra disks for tuning.
Full Nerf bars
K&N filter. ( i like the drop in for trail riding because more protection)

Optionable but nice is the Rath racing header and rejet.

The first oil change is 1 hour OR 1st tank of gas. I changed mine after the first tank of gas. After that u change it about every 10-12 hours. Then its just the pre-ride check.

Change the oil after the first 1 hour of riding and every 10 hours max. Use PS4 oil or Amsoil 0W40. both very good. Amsoil is cheaper though. Keep the air filter real clean. You can get the oil filters from Ebay for cheap. I get the Emgo Oil filters. I buy extra oil filter seals from my dealer and change them every 5 oil changes. This way it cost me 15 bucks to change my oil instead of 35 for the kit.

hoopie,
hows the pred fit a guy who's 5'11", 205 lbs.? will i have enough room to be stretched out or is it cramped.? i 've sat on several and thought it to be about right, but that was just getting off my sp 700 utility.
from my sp 700 view, all i could do was mild mud and climbs/ decents, very cool, but i could'nt thrash around and get wild like all the others out there getting busy on their 2x4's. i love the pred's refinements and overall layout.
