I'm 5'11" / 215 pounds, fit my '04 well, '05 have even better ergos. And I'm one year away from the 40+Predator riders club. And I even plan to grow up some day, just not very soon.

hoopie,
i got that rear seat assembly at the dealer here in huntsville, it's a quadboss brand. did you notice the passenger frame/footrest.? it came with a universal mount kit and should fit anything. it fits perfectly in the perimeter of the rack rails on my sp700. the rear seat assembly was 185 and the frame rails and foot rest were 89.... any more questions feel free bud, joe

You'll love the Predator!.......Awesome quad. I would go with a HMF pipe but I'm sure the others are fine too. A good slip on, drop in K&N, and up a size or two the main jet and its even more of a beast.......Enjoy!
a 40+ member too......

The Predator is an awesome machine. I've raced several races including GNCC's and have had no mechanical issues other than the soft bars/stem/levers. The bike never lets this rider down.
I'm 6'3" 230 and the Predator fits better than most others although I really like the new Raptor 700 ergos!
An easy power mod is the slip-on and the Pure Polaris is a good one. I'd also recommend getting some 1 1/8 bars and aftermarket steering stem. Those seem to be the only soft spots I hear of. Of course skids and bumper depending on how and where you ride.

hows the pred fit a guy who's 5'11", 205 lbs.? will i have enough room to be stretched out or is it cramped.? i 've sat on several and thought it to be about right, but that was just getting off my sp 700 utility.
from my sp 700 view, all i could do was mild mud and climbs/ decents, very cool, but i could'nt thrash around and get wild like all the others out there getting busy on their 2x4's. i love the pred's refinements and overall layout.

I have had nothing but problems with my 05 TLD..all mechnical...none my fault..dropped a valve with less than 50 hrs...bad oil line...rear brake line snapped during a race..currently in the shop for 1and a half months waiting on one single gasket that Polaris says they wont have in stock till the end of this month.

Sounds like a lemon.....the brake line thing I've heard of.....but the rest sounds like a bad quad(shouldn't blame polaris.....every brand has them).......and sounds like a bad dealership....mine will fix anything.....on the spot......

i talked in length with the sales guys,
i leave in the am on my 3 hour road trip to get my new quad, the 05 troy lee. they told me that they have a really good parts section within the store, so while they uncrate my ride, i'll shop a bit on their racks and walls. again, any must haves before the first ride.?
thanks guys, joseph
