If your talking bout my post nowhere did I ever mention one size fits all. My warrior needed to be rejetted...My Pred. didnt. Even after a K&N and a Yoshi slip on for te Pred., all I needed to do is drop the needle one position. I'm at 1100 ft. And yes, plug was mint even after running without dropping the needle. I figured as much as I'm in the midrange better to run rich.
No popping or backfire when going from WOT to zero throttle. So I knew my MJ was ok.

See that's what i did. Drop the needle one click. but you're right, the motor didn't seem to run lean... and honestly it has been missing its mid-range hit since the case was replaced... i'm assuming valves, but we'll see, i'm gonna call thos folks in like...1.5hrs, hopefully they'll have the cause rooted out by then...

hey guys,
turns out that my rings are dead. The dealer says they think it came from having the motor torn literally into a thousand peices so many times already... they figure that the rings may have rotated slightly and then wore to the cylinder each time the machine was torn apart. Anyway, this is what they told polaris and polaris is hooking me up with a whole new top end. Sleeve, piston rings and all. Another alternative explanation i came up with that we're now kicking around, is that my lubrication problems that my first case had could have been robbing my cylinder of oil, and causing lots of wear on the rings. we're thinking that this is more than likely the case... oh well hopefully she gets her mid-range hit back and i can go back to the good old days of reliable ATVing. if everything goes ok this time... maybe i will drop all the lemon law stuff... but we'll see... as long as it stays together i will...

my friends 05 had a prob and when he took it in they aid it had bad ring from the factory. the piston was on back order for too months. the dealer said they have had some 05 come before with the same problem. my freind raised hell with corprate and they seemed to of had a piston in there dest or something. so two weekes later it was back and running great.
