Default Poalris ATP 330 (I need more power)

Kinda sounds like me. I'll spend the 800 bucks to make mine feel like new instead of 4000.

same here. i know i could have bought a new machine that is probably faster than mine is now. oh well, i am having fun learning about this stuff and i love my quad.

I LOOKED AROUND AT A NEW 500 SPORTY EFI FOR HER BUT THERE IS NO WAY I AM GOING TO INVEST THAT KIND OF MONEY. I LIKE TO DO ALL THE WORK MYSELF ON MY MACHINES. SO THERE IS NO INSTALL PRICE FROM A DEALER AT 60.00 AN HOUR. THEY GAVE ME A PRICE OF 600.00 PLUS TAX TO DO THE WORK ON MY MACHINE. I LAUGHED AND HUNG UP THE PHONE.I FIGURE I CAN DO IT IN A WEEKEND. I UNDERSTAND THE 330 WILL NEVER KEEP UP WITH MY 700 BUT IT WILL HELP HER GET AWAY FROM MY ROOSTER TAILS IN THE MUD IF SHE IS FOLLOWING ME. SHE IS HAPPY ABOUT THAT!!!

kj300, congrats on the decision to upgrade the 330, if your happy with it than it's the right thing to do. I've never thought of my wheelerrs as an investment, or worried about making money when or if i sell them, they are purely for enjoyment and my "way out" of the other part of my life called "work", and "bills", and ........... Just let us all know how much better it runs when yourdone. My oldest son wants his tb330 hopped up too!

NO PROBLEM ALL THE PARTS WILL BE HERE ON WEDNESDAY. AND I AM INSTALLING THEM ON SATURDAY. I WILL REPOST THEN.

Hey kj330,

I don't suppose I could convince you to install the clutch kit first, and let me know what kind of difference that makes on a stock machine? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

My wife has a TrailBoss 330, and It is a dog! You just can't get power to the wheels, I am extremely curious if that clutch kit will make all the difference its claimed to make.... If it does, I'll buy it.

Yes I will. I didn't install anything yet. I have all the parts, I orderd the clutch kit and, I also got just the pink primary. I plan on putting the pink spring in before I install the kit. If it works well I am going to return the clutch kit. The spring was only 17.00 and the kit was 179.00. I will see what happens this weekend.

Awesome, Thanks man. Let me know what happens..

I too would rather only spend $17.00! If it gets the job done!

What's else comes in the clutch kit? (I assume the pink spring is also part of the clutch kit?)

I am new to thease PVT's, since i havent taken one apart yet, I don't have a full understanding of what's inside...

i have not opened the box for the kit yiet. and hope i dont have to. i believe it comes with a primary spring, and secondary springs.???? if you go to www.erlandsonperformance.com there is a whole explanation of what is included. and what they do. they seam to be the best on the web for clutch parts.

So I am assume the primary spring is the spring responsible for the engagement slipage/lag in the stock transmission, and thus changing the primary spring alone could possibly be all it needs to function better (Correctly)?
