Default gearcase/trans removal

If you know how to do this and have the correct tools it takes less than an hour to remove the gear box.

Default gearcase/trans removal

Thanks for the extra ideas. Haven't been able to get the primary clutch off. Need to get a puller. I saw posts on here of people making them but cant seem to find a 3/4" bolt with fine threads. Wish I had the right tools - I'd been able to go ride this past weekend.
Again guys thanks for the help.

Nothing is wrong with the trans. Its the lower rear motor mount bushing. Its busted. I was told that in order to replace it, the trans had to come out. From looking at it, it seems that is the only way to remove the bolts from the motor mount.

You shouldnt have to remove the tranny to get the back engine mount replaced.

It doesnt seem like there is any other way. It looks as though the bolts in the engine mount will hit the gearcase if you tried to take them out.
