Default BIG PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking repair is out of the question. Won't be in balance and will lead to failure of all kinds of parts. Someone may have done the repair before, I don't know.

Just remember, that quarter size chunk coming off at full speed. Right next to your leg. Ouch!

Default BIG PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!

the quater size is off i may or may not put it back on depends on how well the jb weld job looks like it will hold..if i do jb it on and it comes off it wont shoot to the side i wouldnt think but either to the front or back since thats how it spins, and the clutch cover is over it as well..

ok the clutch is off and everything is ok on it except for the small chip about the size of a quater on the inner sheave, ppl that have seen it said it shouldnt be a problem! i may just JB weld the chunk back on and see how that goes.. BUT the lil peice wedged in the crank just needs to be removed. i was thinking of drilling a self tapping screw into it, then pulling the screw back out.. OR drilling it out and then to try retapping. its not in far so if thrreads are destroyed it will only be a few if any? what ya guys think
thanks

So the chunk is out of the clutch or out of the black cover behind the clutch.....or out of the motor case????

I think he means it out the clutch sheave itself. The inside half if I understand correctly. Still don't think it's a good idea to run it like that, but I've been wrong before. (The wife has said so)

scooter ur are correct, thats exactly what i mean. about the size of a quater is how big the peice is. it is the sheave itself on the inner engine side

oh.....so it is the clutch itself.........I definately would NOT run it like that.......you could try......but you'll probably get vibration. Those clutches are balanced, and jb welding it back on would just throw it back out of balance the other way......
