Seat Pins Breaking
#1
The pins at the rear of the seat on my Scrambler 400 2x4 that hold it from going side to side keep breaking. They are molded to the bottom of the seat and require replacing the seat. Does anyone know of a replacement pin set up, maybe something racers use?

Do you still need help with this?
I have a 98 Sport 400 and the steel rod that is located at the back of the seat, is the width of the seat and goes into the plastic molding on both sides of the seat (holds the spring in place) broke. Therefore, the steel rod came out and the seat would not stay attached to the ATV any longer.
If the plastic end of your seat broke where this pin is held into the plastic of the seat, I discovered a fix for less than five dollars. It worked great!
E-mail me if you need more info!
