sup dude, i know this is an old post but if u still needed help heres what you do, grab 1. screwdriver n 2.hammer [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] pound said screwdriver into ignition with hammer until you hit the bottom and presto you have your second key ^_^ im not promoting vandalism, if you use my instructions to break the law you are a criminal and deserve to be prosecuted as such (< i only say this to keep people who like to complain about my instructions off my back) it does work on almost every model of atv out there how i found out is somebody broke into my buds home and took his atvs for a joyride, the atv works just fine, i actually like it better this way because you can never lose the key [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] good luck to you and your son.

If it's wired up to where it has spark(usually the red and red/white tied together) plus cranks up but doesn't stay running,this could be carb related,compression related,etc. Before you go too far do a compression check to see where you stand and before you start throwing parts at it. 100 psi or above is rule of thumb. Below that you may have other problems.
