Default 700 Twin vs 800 EFI

Thanks for all the replys!

I went to Cedar Creek Motorsports in Cedarburg Wisconsin. I stopped in to take a look at the Polaris and Hondas. A week later I called my salesman on the way home and said, "knock off $400 and I'll come pick it up tomorrow." He checked with his manager and said they could do it.

I came in the next day with a casheirs check and now all of a sudden the manager wouldn't honor the deal. To say I was surprised would be an understatement. How could they all of a sudden not honor a deal they said they could do last night? I handed the salesman a print out from Polaris of Chattanooga and said that I'm not even asking them to meet their price, our agreed price was a couple hundred more, and still they wouldn't do it. So I walked. Definitely a dealer I wont consider in the future. Too bad.

I have five motorcycles and two other ATVs. Rather than just buy from Chattanooga I was looking to form a relationship with a dealer. Admittedly it was a good price, and now seems to be a good time to buy a new 2005 if you can find one. For some reason I have a hard time spending the money on a four wheeler. As a family we hope to do more four wheeling, but since it's always a trip to go use them, we went only a few times last year, even though one trip was to Colorado for a week.

Thanks again for the feedback. I do like the Polaris better. Still, I might just find a cheaper used model for another year or two until I'm sure we'll use them enough to get the value out of them.

thanks.

Honda's are very reliable. I think the 06 has a low on the tranny. My friend also had problems tipping over on his Honda. Don't know why, I weigh more and my polaris weighs more, we both went over the same areas of the trail. I guess Honda just designed them to get stuck in mud and tip over alot. (HA)

2sly4u is right. My two buddies own Rincons and they fly in and out of the deep mud with no problems. I dont know why any anyone would dis them. They are smooth riding ATV's. My buddies have never had any problems with the Rincons either.
