Two-stroke, oil injected. No problems. Had to replace the battery twice I think. Only thing that I could see as a potential hazard is if you were going fast and turned the bars a little too far I think it could toss them pretty good! The little ones turn pretty sharply and that combined with around 25-30 mph could smart a bit! That's the main reason I haven't taken the limit screw out.

I have an Pred 90 for my little one, same as the Sportsman, and it GPS'd out a 31mph +/- whatever error you wanna through in..stock with the limiters removed. I agree the little 90's scoot really good. I think I have more fun on that 90 than I do on my Pred!! No major problems to date with it..cast heatsheild kept breaking (finally just left it off), and the headpipe bolts backed themselves out, with one snaping of in the head. All covered under warrenty.

Safety conscious...alway a good trait in a parent! That's the main reason I'm going to get my 11yr old daughter a sawtooth or phoenix...she's not ready for that kind of speed yet. She seems to handle the trx90's speed pretty good, but those 200cc machines are a bit too fast heavy for her ability to maneuver them well.
She weighs a little under 100lbs, but she hasn't quite mastered the art of leaning in turns yet. My son, 13 yrs, weighs about the same as my daughter, but he and gears were made for each other, and sliding the trx90 around corners is his passion! He loves that stuff!

The dealer did a once over it checking bolts etc...he braught it home did the same everything was tight...after a month or so things have began to fall off just from trail riding, the muffler front bumper headlight is always popping out of the body till he put screws in it...it seems like an alright wheeler if it didnt just fall apart
