has anyone tried replacing the speedo lens? I hate to spend the money for a new one if I could find a piece of glass or plastic to replace just the lens part.

What ever you do, beware that water doesn´t go through the speedo to the electricity unit under it. If so happens, big troubles start and money burns. Anything can happens; you are out of 4WD or something else you just need. In your place I´d first try to find very good glue for first aiding that and then start thinking what next.

Thanks Grande, The only problem I have with your solution of glueing the lens is that the lens broke in half and I Cannot find one half. It's a 05 500 with 250 miles on it. I just hate to throw the whole thing away. If I could find the face of a clock or a light lens for a car. I just can't think of anything off hand that would be about the same size. anyone have any ideas of what might work?.. Thanks

Is the lens on yours a permanent part of the speedometer?
