What is so bad about the regular predator shocks, why are the TLD's so much better?

And what is a STD gear box?

there is nothing wrong with the standard shocks on the Predator, in fact they are Fox. The TLD and LE has the Fox Podium with rezzie that allows for some additional compression and rebound dampening adjustments. Smoother ride...

The TLD and LE (in '06) have the close ration gear box in them, where the standard Predator (STD) has a standard ratio gear box.

Right on.
As you can see from my profile pics i like biggish air and the rezzies will help the predator take the landings from much higher up.

Webopper, where did you get yours from? I got mine at USA motorsports, 6400 OTD including my goodies. We went back this last weekend to get my buddies daughter the Pred 90, and they were worse than metro Motorsports. Pushy and tried to sell us a 90 size utility quad. What idiots. So we ended up at YSA and got the pred 90 2006 for 2600 OTD. We were treated very well and the apperal there is awesome 2 stories. Pretty bad ***

Shawn
Also at USA...did you get the LE model or the standard?

I ws at YSA yesterday cruising around. they do have a nice store up there. Got some paddles and a jersey up there, but really do most of my shopping at USA as it's the closest. I'm looking right now at a Hawkeye 2X4 for my wife and working them over, but their not budging. I'm sure you know, but all those -- USA, YSA, and Metro, along with Town and Country and Desert -- are all the same group. You really have to get out of Phoenix area to find a Polaris dealer that is not part of the "RideNow" group.
I hear you, the ride now group is a special breed. I got the standard edition with Carbonfiber plastic, lazerlights, trailtech. My friend got the LE and was very unhappy with the performance. My expeirence has been that white Bros doesn't really give you an increase in power. He swapped it out for the yoshi and that made some good gains, more top end. My DMC has gobs of low & mid. I actually get him up the hill because of my low and mid range. I had really great luck with USA until this past weekend. The sales guys were trying to step on each other and sell us what we didn't want. I was very unhappy with how we were treated

Hmmm, we'll have to get together some time. I'd love to see that with the carbon. Yea, and I have the LE, and think it rocks. My neighbor has and '03 with full Yoshi, and I don't see that much of a difference. Course, it's an 03, and he has like a +6 swingarm, so no wheelieing on that thing anyway...

Here's the skinny ...

Just got back from the dealer - Here's the story - he salesdroid drove the new Outlaw in a showdown Dealer Polaris sponsored weekend event they had in the fall over in Thurman, NY (upper state).

Apparently, they had all the new ATV's from all the makers Bomb, Suzuki, Kawie, Yam and of course Polaris. He personally drove the Outlaw and just couldn't say enough great things - He was acting like a little kid describing his Xmas gifts to his best friend - LOL.

Anyway, he said he had two coming in at the end of February, Polaris ship date Feb 20th. Stated he was lucky to get two because the first year will be limited production only 800 units national (USA only), with NO overseas shipments.

All confirmed via the Polaris dealer computer system. He said he cannot get anymore he tried to order more and was denied all 800 units are currently spoken for at dealerships nation wide so no more for him.

Well needless to say I BOUGHT BOTH OF THEM...

His and Her Outlaws - "Jesse James and Belle Star"... should have them end of Feb. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew, got em just in the nick of time dude came in after me and was looking for one - "oh well - you snooze, you lose"
