Has anyone messed with ceramic coatings in a 2 stroke, Like the piston tops, combustion chambers, maybe a dry film lub on the piston skirts??

Anyone ever ported their own cylinder jug, what mods did you do and what kind of results did you get.

What kind of quench heights are you guys running/reccomend?

 

Honestly, when it comes to your engine, don't take any chances to mess things up. If I were you I would have someone like HPD, RCR, or Bubba297 do the porting and internal cylinder work. As for the ceramic coating i don't know anything about it, but I have delt with RCR, HPD, and Bubba297. And I would HIGHLY recommend ALL of them. You can see what i'm running listed below, there will be some additions shortly. Just my $.02 but I hope it helps ya!

 

how fast does your bike go with all those mods?

 

Honestly I don't really know, because I just done most of them this winter and i've not had it on a timed track but let me tell you, IT WILL RUN!

 

i have heard of swain coating on pistons but thats about it around here.

Mine will do 73 mph and is fast accelerating!
