I have a 2004 SP400 and just replaced my left front hub inner seal which was leaking. After putting everything back together, had the quad on a lift to check 2wd/4wd operation, and in 2wd, the left tire was wobbling. I assume that the CV joint is bent because the drive shaft looked okay. I did take a hit pretty hard on the left side which bent the A-Arm. I replaced the A-Arm but didn't notice any other damage at the time. Does my assumption sound correct? I haven't had time to tear the whole thing apart yet (I noticed this at about 11:00 last night), was wondering if others have seen this.

It would be almost impossible to bend a CV joint.

 

Tore everything apart last night. Drive shaft is bent. Oh well, what's $300.

 

OUCH!

 

Don't spend $300 yet.

Take it to a maching shop or a local garage and put it in a press.

I have fixed many rear axles by bending them back into shape in a press.
