What experience did you have with HPD's products to think they fall apart fast?
Clutch kit, roller clutch, two exhaust sys, chain tensioner(about $1,100 spent in parts). All have fallen apart within a year, and HPD won't stand behind there product, but they will take your money.
Good luck finding a performance company that will stand behind there parts, most don't stand behind there parts. Come on down to Little Sahara for Snakehunt I've got an quad full of hpd parts I'll race ya with!
That's why I said to get a quad that has the power that you need. Then you don't have to deal with hack's. Is that so hard to understand. And I wouldn't bother going out to the Little Sahara because I already know what a modded 400 will do. And it won't take out a KFX. But if you feel it would, then swing out to Chicago and show me. I'm not going to waste my time to go out there to show you your wrong. It would have to be worth my while. And no,I don't want another Poolaris. And that's all I have to say, because your taking this thread off the subject.

Just for the record gunman457, my 400 is making about 80HP, If thats not enough, I have a 2005 Honda 450R with ALOT of mods, and I KNOW for a fact it will smoke the KFX 700 because I have done it all day long. It will smoke a trail mod banshee also!

Yeah, you've been smoking alright. I think you been reading to many phony ad's from the company's you get your part's from. Put it on a dyno and come back and tell me it's doing 80 horse. Don't **** on my back and tell me It's raining.

Here's a quote from DirtyWhiteBoy in the Kawi forum:

I'm curious now about any exhaust gains that could be had. Funny thing is I am making just shy of the 36 HP that a friends V is making with dual exhaust. I've never been one to buy into exhaust gains on a stock machine. I got a sweet deal on the QS1 so I decided to try it for academics, a little bling, hate of excess noise, and because I ride in national forest.

I know another V that is having head work done, has dual exhaust, and is expected to get 38HP on the dyno.

Next, check out VFORCEJOHN's photo page. He has a dyno graph of a stock V-force putting the smack down with 35.28 hp!

Finally, HighLifterV700 shows in his signature that his 700 is making 38.71 hp. I have to be fair and point out that his machine is modded for XC racing.

Apparently gunman, you don't tell only facts like you claim. As another member suggested earlier, why don't you stay in the Kawi forum where you belong.

wiscrambler,

thank you for you research regarding the HP output of a stock kfx700. i was very doubtful of the claim of the kawi HP, provided by mr.gunman. its clear to me that mr.gunman is only here to attack people that are seeking honest and helpful facts and information.

it amazes me that the moderators of this forum continue to allow this member to make trouble. he has been warned many times, but yet this still happens. when will it end? he clearly has nothing positive nor constructive to contribute to the polaris forum.

please moderators, remove this member(gunman457) from this forum.

I'm Sorry, I was off a little. I just looked in my service manual and it said 49.4hp@6500rpm's and 43.67ft-lb torque@5000rpm's. Incase you don't believe me, hear's a online service manual for a KFX 700. Look in General Information chapter 1 page 6.

I'm not sure where you got your info, but it's wrong. I'm so sorry I was .6hp off.
