I'll comment, quit crying about Polaris and enjoy your 50HP KFX(no doubt at the crank) You had a bad experience with your quad, we know that because that's all you post about, get over it already!

I'm curious now about any exhaust gains that could be had. Funny thing is I am making just shy of the 36 HP that a friends V is making with dual exhaust. I've never been one to buy into exhaust gains on a stock machine. I got a sweet deal on the QS1 so I decided to try it for academics, a little bling, hate of excess noise, and because I ride in national forest.
I know another V that is having head work done, has dual exhaust, and is expected to get 38HP on the dyno.
Hey WIscrambler,
Next, check out VFORCEJOHN's photo page. He has a dyno graph of a stock V-force putting the smack down with 35.28 hp!
Finally, HighLifterV700 shows in his signature that his 700 is making 38.71 hp. I have to be fair and point out that his machine is modded for XC racing.
Apparently gunman, you don't tell only facts like you claim. As another member suggested earlier, why don't you stay in the Kawi forum where you belong.

Should he have gotten a slow 4-stroke like yours? Put your money where your mouth is if you think his quad is slow!Anyways, from what I've heard, the race lightened flywheel lets the engine rev extremely fast! Do you still have the gear ring on the flywheel for the electric start? I pounded mine off very easily and probably removed a good 8 ounces from the flywheel!

Please don;t start a pissing match over this.
And if you want to come to Florida and ride in the warm weather let me know, were planning a trip to Ocala National forest in 3 weeks 12-15 quads all makes and models, you camp out, drink some beer, ride trails with us and we can do some drags whenever you want.
let me know if your interested, weather should be about 75-65degrees.

There is a diffierence between HP at the crank and HP at the rear tires. If where not to busy trying to disrespect my knowledge, then you would have seen these guy's your talking about where getting 38hp at the rear wheels on a motorcycle dyno.

No diffierent then a non belt drive.

It's a whole lot different than a non drive belt becuase it will try to change gear ratios while accelerating on the dyno thus giving an inaccurate reading. Now we know where he logic comes from Ignorance!
