Hi guys, I'm about to upgrade to a 2004 Pred.
Only thing is I've gotta sacrifice reverse which I got used to on my Phoenix. Is it a pain not having it ?? I'm sure you guys who live without it have adjusted.
Would appreciate your input.

 

well, it really depends on what kind of terrain your riding.
1.trail
2.dunes
3.track

 

same here..i've just bought an 04 pred today and i sacrificed reverse from my sport but i definately think its worth it..

 

Well if you do any woods riding or any kind of mudding you will miss the reverse. If you do track or drag you dont need it.

 

Thanks for your input guys. unfortunately I do spend most time on the trails & I can see problems with that,
although I used to negotiate them ok on my bikes without reverse, maybe I'll hold out for a 2005 or 6 model.
Was 2005 the first model with reverse?

 

Yea, the 2005 is the first year the predator came with reverse.
