Most people assume the concentric drive system means "no maintenance." That is far from true. I have found that it is critical to keep the chain adjusted right, or it will wear sprockets fast or sling it. The chain will still stretch, and will still break if over-tightend and you jump or anything. The concentric drive is much better than the older style, but it's not no maintenance.
I have thrown 2 chains from my Scrambler, and now on the 3rd. I have had it for almost a year now, and no problems. I bought a good chain though. My sprockets are finally showing some wear. I also use Maxima chain wax.
Make sure when adjusting the chain you use a torque wrench to tighten them back up to the reccamended torque. I used to "feel" for it, and the chain never stayed right. I found out I was over-tightening the caliper bolts and under tightening the axle housing bolts. Once I started using a torque wrench, I very rarely have to adjust it do to the cam turning.
